FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the school have a dress code?

We ask that our students be dressed for comfort and not wear offensive clothing such as tobacco labels, alcohol advertisements, or shirts with profanity and/or suggestive language. To keep our students safe on the playground we recommend shoes with covered toes.

If I have a day school student who rides a bus and there is a fog or snow delay, what happens?

FCA will follow West Fargo Public Schools’ weather delays and cancellations schedule. If there is a delay or cancellation, parents and/or guardians will be contacted via email and their provided phone number.

My child needs assistance taking prescribed medication, can you help?

Full Circle Academy staff are trained in the administration of medications as ordered by the student’s primary care physician and/or psychiatrist.  Specific written parent permission is needed for staff to do so. All staff are also trained in First Aid, CPR, and Safety Care™.

What will happen if my child misbehaves?

While we expect the best from your child, our staff is specially trained to deal with difficult behavioral problems. Each student has a Behavior Support Plan (BSP) outlining how to assist the student when they are displaying challenging behaviors. Ultimately, Full Circle Academy does not suspend a student for behaviors nor do we call a student’s guardian to pick a student up because of behaviors. We make all attempts to work with the student on their maladaptive behaviors and get back on task.

Do you offer in-school support?

Yes. Through our sister clinic, Full Circle Pediatric Solutions, we offer a range of services to schools seeking assistance with providing the right level of supports to their special needs students, from school-based consultation to school placement. Services range from:

  • Setting up effective behavior systems including professional development for all staff.
  • Behavior interventions for students in general education and special education.
  • Individualized assessment and behavior planning for intensive student needs, leading to placement at the Academy if warranted.
  • Provide our staff and train the public school staff when transitioning the student back to their home school when appropriate.

Please see our clinic website for more information or contact us.

Do you offer scholarships or financial assistance?

We are actively fundraising so that we can offer assistance or scholarships in the near future. If you would like to be notified when scholarship and assistance funds become available, please enter your email address.
